Yoga not only increases your flexibility — no matter where you’re starting at — it’s also one of the best forms of resistance strength training, using your own body weight. We use yoga to build strength, flexibility, cardio fitness, and prevent injury.
Barre based classes are inspired by ballet along with pilates and yoga. You hold your body still while contracting certain muscles along with small range of motion movements and high reps. You use the barre for balance and support and sometimes even use light handheld weights.
Pilates is a refreshing mind and body workout. With flowing movements you become in tune with your body and your breathing. While reducing stress with pilates you will gain a strong core and a strong back. You will also become more flexible and gain long and lean muscles.
